We Will Give you new info for iPhone

Of course, one of the biggest complaints about the iPhone is that it doesn’t have a very good camera inside. Sure, it comes in handy when taking a snap shot of where you parked or a picture of that beautiful landscape when you forgot your camera at home but the quality of that image is very bad unless you’re in very good lighting conditions. Many people have demanded atleast a 5 megapixel sensor on the iPhone and by the looks of it, Apple has listened and the next generation iPhone will have a 5 megapixel camera sensor, atleast we hope.

Digitimes claims Apple has places orders with OmniVision Technologies for both 3.2 and 5 megapixel camera sensors. The 3.2 megapixel is reported to be used in the next generation iPhone (iPhone 4G?) and the 5 megapixel is reported to be used in a separate product launching later this year.

OmniVision has received 3.2-megapixel CMOS image sensor (CIS) orders for Apple’s next-generation iPhone, according to market sources. The company is also said to have secured 5-megapixel CIS orders for another Apple product expected to be launched later in the year.

A 3.2 megapixel image sensor on the next generation iPhone isn’t a huge improvement in terms of megapixels but hey, it’s something right? We just hope the image quality is that of a $8,000USD Nikon D3 - One can only dream, right?
